The active substance in Taleum eye drops is sodium cromoglycate, a medicine for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conjunctivitis of allergic (eg. hay fever) origin.
It is usually advisable to start treatment 2 to 4 weeks before the onset of intermittent symptoms and to continue until the symptoms have resolved. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, your usual dose is 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day, applied to both eyes. Taleum eye drops should be applied to the conjunctiva of the eye. To do this, bend your head back slightly, look up and pull your lower eyelid a little away from your eye. Press the vial and apply 1 drop of Taleum eye drops to the bottom of the conjunctival sac. Make sure that the opening of the bottle does not come into contact with the eyes. Slowly close your eyes after instillation. Close the bottle immediately after use.
